Aris, the goddess of discord. In her fury, Aris throws a golden apple into the midst of the celebration. Inscribed with "For the Fairest." The godesses argue over who is fairest. The decision is left to Paris, a Prince of Troy. Each goddess offers him a tempting bribe.
