Prof. Bryce D. McLeod
I’m a Professor of Psychology at Virginia Commonwealth University and a Visiting Professor of Paediatrics at the National University of Singapore. I’m a Clinical Psychologist and earned my Ph.D. from the University of California, Los Angeles, in 2004. My work focuses on improving evidence-based practice for children and adolescents with social, emotional, and behavioral difficulties. I’ve authored or co-authored more than 130 scientific articles, book chapters, and books, and have served on local, national, and international committees dedicated to advancing evidence-based care. My research explores the role of the therapeutic alliance in youth psychotherapy, the identification of core elements of evidence-based programs to support their implementation and sustainment in community settings, youth assessment, treatment integrity, and the training and supervision of providers.
