Reporting damage to your Chromebook is a crucial step in getting it fixed quickly.
The process for reporting a damaged Chromebook is different at each campus. To make sure that you follow the correct procedure, check with your campus's Front Office staff or AP Center. They can help point you in the right direction to get your device fixed quickly.
Don't wait! There is no reason for you to struggle with a damaged device.

Chromebook Updates Your Chromebook, should update automatically but you can always check using the instructions in the video at the end of this presentation.
Update Brain Firmware
At least once per season all brains will need a firmware update. Additionally, motors, sensors, and controllers will need updates.

- Update the brain without anything else connected first
- Connect the controller and update again if necessary
- Connect morots and sessors and update one more time if neede

- Turn OFF device (long press the Power button until it shuts off completely)
- Press and hold the Esc + Refresh + Power buttons simultaneously until device turns ON.
- Press CTRL + D and release.
- Press ENTER and release. *NOTE: screen may go black momentarily*
- Press Space bar and release.
- Press ENTER and release. Device should restart.
- Plug the Multiport Adaptor into the USB-C port of your Chromebook.
- Once the device completes Enterprise Enrollment, you will be able to log into your Chromebook.
