What is it?
It means that students create projects as part of their learning experience. Students develop a project from start to finish, making decisions on how to proceed, incorporating subject matter into the project, and producing a project that represents their knowledge.

- It narrows and fouses project work by providing a specific item to complete.
- At the beginning, it is vital for students to understand the outcomes of the project that the teacher expects. The teacher can help students understand this by assigning a task that must be completed.

- They help students to know what to do to stay on task and make progress on their project.
- Directions give students more guidence than the task does.
- They should explain to students how to proceed in doing the project, and tell them what specific items must be addressed in the project.

- Keep tasks and directions not over-detailed, so students have a choice; this matters.
- As a teacher, you must permit student choices in project-based learning
- In more advanced projects, students could choose the type of project they would like to complete
- Student choice allows for the development of creative thinking, development of innovation, and decision-making skills for the Information Age.

Students learn leadership skills by assigning and following up on responsibilities, seeking information, making a plan of action, and doing other group activities. They can review both a group grade and n individual grade for the project.
Teachers coach students. by showing or telling them how to improve what they are doing or how to better follow directions and meet project requirements.

It may be provided to help students return to productivity why they have drifited from the task
Student Reflection
- Important element of project-based learning.
- Students should reflect as both groups and indivudals at various points in the project.

Presenting these products to a wide audience is a great way to showcase student work. -This can be done in the classroom or even presented to a wider audience online. It can be done in groups or alone, depending on the specific assignments for task.

After handing out two seeds and two pots of soil to each group, Mr. Walls gave directions to students so they could correctly plant the seeds. When the seeds were planted, he showed students how to properly water a marigold. He then explained how to take pictures with the digital camera to document the life cycle for the plants. Near the end of the project, Mr. Walls gave instructions on how to create a popplet for the final project
