MISSION AND VISION
Mission: Provide affortable, convenient access to entertainment. Vision: Blend physical convenience with digital accessibility. 💡 Redbox once led the DVD rental market but failed to evolve fast enough for the streaming revolution.

Mid-2010s: Streaming platforms — Netflix, Hulu, Disney+ — completely changed how people consumed movies. 2023: Streaming made up ≈85% of global entertainment revenue, while DVD rentals became almost irrelevant. Impact: Redbox’s model of low-cost, physical rentals no longer matched what audiences wanted — instant, digital, and subscription-based access. (Streaming ↑ / Physical ↓).
