Lina loved to explore her neighborhood after school. One sunny afternoon, she noticed a small gate she had never seen before. The gate was covered with green vines and bright yellow flowers.
Curious, Lina pushed the gate open and stepped inside. To her surprise, she found a beautiful garden hidden behind tall walls. Butterflies floated above colorful flowers, and a fountain sparkled in the sunlight.
Lina heard a soft voice say, “Hello there!” She turned and saw an older woman sitting on a bench. The woman smiled kindly. “I’m Mrs. Green. This is my garden. Would you like to help me water the plants?”
Lina nodded excitedly. Together, they filled watering cans and gave each plant a drink. As they worked, Mrs. Green told stories about how she planted every flower by hand. Lina listened carefully, feeling happy and calm.
When it was time to go, Mrs. Green said, “You can come back anytime.” Lina smiled and waved. She couldn’t wait to visit the mysterious garden again.
