If you could switch roles with anyone for a day, who would it be and why?

If I could switch roles with anyone for a day, I would probably pick someone in QA. I really enjoy analyzing literature and conversation and I think it would be fun to put myself in their shoes. If it were outside of work, I would have to choose my cat. He spends the entire day getting spoiled by my mom and sleeping wherever and whenever he pleases. He doesn’t pay rent or send emails, and I think that’s a pretty special life to lead.

What Motivates You?

Fun Fact!

I won first place and grand prize in the Young Author competition, and my book was illustrated and published. It’s about a mermaid trapped in a school gymnasium pool, discovered by two girls during a snowstorm. Can you tell I was obsessed with Aquamarine growing up?

My biggest motivators are my coworkers who I have built strong friendships with. Every day with them is a new adventure and they keep me on my toes for sure! I am also deeply appreciative of our leaders who cheer us on often.

How do you like to unwind?

I enjoy going to the gym to work out the stress of the day or scrolling on my phone way past my bedtime.

Whats your dream vacation destination?

Japan

If you could meet your dream celebrity or role model who would it be?

Billie Eilish! She's been a huge role model of mine since 2017 adn she is my favorite artist!

What's something you've learned here that you didnt know before?

I've learned that even I can get tired of talking. Any one who knows me will tell you I NEVER STOP but after a full day on the phone, you would be better off engaging in conversation with a brick wall. LOL

What do you enjoy most about your job?

Learning Piano

I really enjoy getting to know the customers we see often. It’s always like catching up with an old friend. You really get to build a relationship with your regulars.

Proudest Moment

My proudest moments have to be when the ladies I work with come to me for help and I get to show off my ‘secret tricks’ (which are basically just an easier way to use the computer since I have been on the internet since the day I was born practically.) I have a big heart and a knack for keeping us all sane and running smoothly. I am proud of my growth as a person and employee since I first started!

Best advice you've received

I love giving advice, but I don’t receive it well because I’m stubborn. It’s a blessing and a curse. On a serious note, probably the courage my grandmother gives me to keep going. Time heals all and it truly has become better every day.

My role and what my day looks like!

I am a hybrid employee, so my week is a mix of in store and phone work. Most days, you’ll find me in the store helping customers face to face. These interactions often translate pretty closely to the conversations I have on the phone. I’ve met a ton of interesting people along the way and no two days are ever the same!
