Classrooms

Classrooms are typically the physical spaces at your studio where classes are held. Within each classroom, you can create layouts that determine the capacity of the class. Classrooms can also be created for outdoor classes/events as well as livestream classes.

FCFS Layouts

If your studio does not utilize First-Come-First-Serve (FCFS) layouts, please skip this video. FCFS layouts are used for classes without assigned spots. The earlier a customer shows up for a FCFS class, the better their chance is of grabbing their perferred spot.

PAS Layouts

If your studio does not utilize Pick-A-Spot (PAS) layouts, please skip this video. PAS layouts are used for classes with designated spots (e.g. bikes, reformers, etc.).

EditingPAS Layouts

If your studio does not utilize Pick-A-Spot layouts, please skip this video. PAS can be edited to rename or reposition spots. For all other modifications, you must duplicate the layout then make your changes.

Lesson Summary

  • Before adding classes to your schedule, you must first create classrooms and layouts, which determine where classes take place and how many customers can join.
  • Classrooms are created under Configuration → Locations. You can create multiple classrooms—for example, “Classroom A” for in-studio and “At-Home” for virtual classes.
  • Layouts define class capacity and can be set as:
    • First-Come-First-Serve (FCFS): Customers reserve a general spot.
    • Pick-A-Spot (PAS): Customers select a specific location, such as a bike or mat.
  • Each classroom can have multiple layouts (e.g., 10-person or 20-person versions), so it’s best to give each layout a clear, descriptive name.
  • Editing and duplicating layouts:
    • Editing existing PAS layouts can impact reports and active reservations.
    • Duplicating a layout allows you to make new versions safely without changing existing data.
  • Once classrooms and layouts are configured, you’re ready to begin building your class schedule.
