In a Zelda video game, dungeons are themed, maze-like areas filled with challenges
Special items can be found that allow for previously unsolved puzzles to be completed
At the end of the dungeon is a boss battle, often requiring a special item to defeat
Along the way, search for keys, items and clues to open new areas
Area Setup
- Have at least 2-3 areas where students can go
- Each area contains case studies, challenges or "monster camps"
- Areas outside of starting area are locked- require key to enter
- Instructor acts as game manager - read questions, check answers, award items, etc
