The medina of Fez is the old city, a medieval walled labyrinth and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Its name is Fes el-Bali and it is one of the largest and oldest pedestrian zones in the world.

Maze of alleyways: The medina is famous for its more than 9,000 narrow, winding alleyways, an intricate network that makes getting lost part of the experience. Crafts and trade: It is full of souks (markets) and workshops of specialized artisans. Entire neighborhoods are dedicated to trades such as tanning, coppersmithing, and woodworking. Historic architecture: The medina is home to a wealth of monuments from different eras, including madrasas (Koranic schools), mosques, palaces, fountains, and old fondouks (inns).

This is northern Morocco, we call it the Rif. An interesting fact is that Spain and Morocco have a similarity in terms of internal problems, like Catalonia and Spain. Well, here it's the Rif, and Morocco is pro-independence, but moderate. Putting that aside, it's one of my favorite places.

The Rif, or more specifically the Nador area, is quite well known for its striking beaches and tourist areas. You have incredible areas like Marchica or, for example, the shopping center (currently under construction) also we are known for our crime rate.

As we mentioned before, this is Marchica, a fairly exclusive area where not everyone can afford to stay. It boasts a golf course, 5-star hotels, restaurants, and inflatable mattresses over the sea—yes, you also have the beach there, all in one place.

And last but not least, because it is important, we have the music.

We have many types here, but we'll talk about the ones I like the most.

One important thing to add is that we have religious holidays that are completely different from those of Christians and Jews. For example, on Eid al-Adha, we buy a live lamb to sacrifice in the name of God, and the most important one is Ramadan.
