Category: Fill in the Blanks

This question type lets students drag and drop words, phrases, numbers or images from a list into blanks. Blanks can be stand-alone, or embedded in a paragraph or sentence. Teachers set the blanks and possible responses, and can choose how scoring works (full credit only, or partial credit for each correct placement).

Fill in the Blank

Category: Fill in the Blank

This question type is a digital fill-in-the-blank; students type their responses into text boxes embedded within a passage of text. Teachers set the correct answer(s) and scoring options (exact match or partial credit), and can include things like alternate answers, character limits, and text-box sizing.

Video Recorder

Category: Written & Recorded

This question type allows students to use their device’s camera to record a video response directly within the assessment, then play it back before submitting. It is graded manually (it cannot be auto-scored) and you can set details like maximum length of the recording

Matching

Category: Classify, Match, & Order

This format lets students pair items by dragging responses from one list into the correct slots of a linked static list. Teachers set the prompt, define the static list and the possible responses, and decide whether students must get everything correct for credit or can earn partial points for each correct match

This question lets students respond to several related prompts in one table, choosing an answer for each row from a shared set of options. It’s great for comparing or matching information, and teachers can adjust scoring and layout options to fit their needs.

Drawing

Category: Highlight and Drawing

This question type gives students a blank workspace or an uploaded image where they use drawing tools (such as a compass, straightedge/ruler, free-hand pen) to show their work or annotate. Teachers can select which tools are available (like text annotation, line width, colors) and must manually score the responses since it is not auto-scored.

Multiple Choice-Standard

Category: Multiple Choice
