This week we will be reviewing what we learned about three major biomolecules:
- Carbohydrates - the energy biomolecule!
- Proteins - this powerhouse molecule has hundreds of varieties, serving 9 major purposes in our bodies
- Enzymes - this special kind of protein makes digestion and other life-sustaining processes possible
- Lipids - cell membranes, hormone production, and killing viruses - what can't these long carbon chains do?
