Anchor

The anchor is the hook of the project. Its purpose is to engage students using real-world experiences in the project.

Task

The task is the main topic of the project or it can be described as a a specific goal that the student must complete.

Directions

The directions outline the project. This includes the academic goals and expectations for the project. The directions shouldn't tell students exactly what to do, but guide them in the right direction.

Student Choices

Students pick the information included in the project, such as a topic, evidence to support the topic, engagement factors, and how they want the project to look when completed.

Student Iquiry

Students get to ask questions about the project and find resources to answer those questions. These resources can include books, newspapers, and websites.
