Quick Start Guide

  1. Follow the assembly instructions.
    1. Did the legs extend and the head raise?
    2. After the head is raise, did the lights on the base turn white?
    3. Did the projector automatically turn on?
    4. Use the Lu Keyboard to open the Target application and test. Did it work properly?
  2. Connect to the internet.
  3. Disassemble the system for storage.

Ensure you are fully prepared for your Bluum professional learning session on the Lü by following the checklist provided on the right. If any troubleshooting needs to occur while your facilitator is onsite, it may reduce the time available for working directly with participants.

If there were any issues, contact Lü support at support@play-lu.com with the following information,

  • Request a remote session to set up the Lü
  • School Name
  • Lü number (example: LU1234) - this can be found on the orange briefcase
  • Phone Number
  • When your Training is scheduled with Bluum

Assembly

Use the Laser Rangefinder to determine the best location for the Move system which should be 6 m or 20 ft from the wall.

Take the Base out of its case. Two people, lift the head out of the case.

Two people, secure the head on the base and lock it by clicking on the lock button located on the head.

Connect the plug to the base and a wall outlet then switch the power button on.

Press the up button down to extend the legs and raise the head.

Turn the Lu Keyboard on and wait for the automatic image calibration to finish. Use the Lu Keyboard to follow the on-screen instructions.

Wait for camera calibration to finish and the Lu application to launch. If this does not occur, follow the onscreen steps to restart the system.

NOTICE Do NOT move the Lü system when the head is attached.

Connect to the Internet

NOTICEIf you don’t have Internet access when using Lü, skip this step. Please note that you won’t have access to all features until the system is connected to the Internet.

Press the Win key on the keyboard remote to open the Windows taskbar.

Click on the “Network” icon in the taskbar, then select the icon to manage Wi-Fi connections.

Choose the Wi-Fi network you want, then select “Connect”.

Enter the network password, then select “Next”.

Once the connection is established, the Wi-Fi network will show as “Connected” and the network icon will change.

Disassembly

In the Lu app, click on the power button and shutdown the sytem.

Once the head lights are completely off, press the down button until the head is fully lowered.

Turn the power button off on the base. Unplug the cord from the base and then from the wall.

Disengage the head lock. With two people, slide the head off of the base.

With two people, place the head in its case.

Turn the Lu Keyboard off.

Place the base in its case.

Your Lu System comes with inflatable balls. The system works off of shadows so you can use other items that produce a large enough shadow such as hands, foam balls, pool noodles, etc.

Laser Rangefinder - Use to determine the best location for the Move from the wall.

Projector Remote - The projector will automatically turn on or off when the Lu is raised or lowered.
