HISTORY
Aracena is a Spanish municipality in the province of Huelva (Andalusia). It is located in the mountain range of the Sierra de Aracena and picos de Aroche , which is part of the Sierra Morena, and has a population of 8,240 habitants and an area of 184.45 km².

The main monuments of this town are the statue of “Los Guarritos”, the San Pedro Square,a train to go for all Aracena and the parish church. However, the most famous place is “La Gruta de las Maravillas”, a cave that was discovered by a shepherd when one of his sheep ran away.

Aracena is known for its great variety of gastronomy, ranging from goat cheeses and honey to Iberian meats and mushrooms, although its star product is Iberian ham.
