Hair Brush

I'm on the go a lot and if my hair isn't in a pony tail, it gets tangled pretty easily. I like to have a brush on hand to tackle the tangles.

Listen

Day timer

My paper daytimer holds the key to everything in my life...appointments, practices, games, extracurricular activities, etc etc

Listen

Keys

Phone, keys, wallet, sunglasses - my mantra as I leave my house for the day. Drop kids off at school and get my day started.

Listen

Sunglasses

Never leave home without them! You never know when the sun will come out in Vancouver.

Listen

Deodarant

I try and get my daily exercise in in between studying, driving, doing errands, and coaching. You never know when you need to smell your best!

Listen

Writing Supplies

Most of the MET program is online, but I am still old-school when it comes to taking notes and brainstorming ideas. I always have pens, pencils, and usually a lot of coloured highlighters in my bag with me.

Listen

Shopping bag

Teens need a lot of stuff and eat a lot of food. I find myself at some type of store at least every other day, grabbing snacks, school supplies, personal items, or something for dinner.

Listen

Coaching Notebook

I absolutly love coaching volleyball. I coach a high school girls' team and have so much fun doing it. I find myself spending a lot of time planning practices, doing admin for the team, and planning for our next game. I always have a notebook handy to jot ideas down. I much prefer it to digital records that get lost in my phone.

Listen

Electrolytes, hand sanitizer, lip balm, and Advil

Essential items to stay hydrated, keep germs away, keep chapped lips at bay, and to deal with headaches of loud gyms!

Listen

Purses, yes plural

I have a bigger bag for items that I use almost daily, and a smaller cross body bag for quickly running into stores. The larger bag has all the items seen here, and the smaller bag just has my phone, airpods, a tide pen, and lip balm.

Listen

Card case

The most important thing in my bag - my driver's licence, credit cards, debit cards, and Costco card for big grocery shops. Oh, and a customer appreciation coffee stamp card from my favourite local cafe.

Listen

Dog poop bags

Our dog needs walks about 3 times a day so I always have poop bags ready to go so that I am being a responsible dog owner and cleaning up after him.
