1. User Interface (UI)

User Interface is everything you see and touch on a computer program. It includes buttons, menus, and screens. A good UI is easy to understand and use for all people, young and old.s.

  • A banking app has large buttons and clear numbers so older people can easily check their money. Simple design helps everyone use the app without confusion or mistakes..
  • A hospital appointment app uses colors and big text to show available times. Patients can quickly book doctor visits without help. Good design makes important tasks simple for sick people.

2. Algorithm

An algorithm is like a cooking recipe for computers. It gives step-by-step instructions to solve problems. Algorithms help computers make decisions and work with information quickly and correctly.

  • YouTube uses algorithms to suggest videos you might like. It watches what videos you see and finds similar ones. This helps you discover new content that matches your interests.
  • Supermarket self-checkout machines use algorithms to calculate prices. They scan items, apply discounts, and add taxes correctly. This makes shopping faster and easier for customers.

3. App

An app is a program on your phone or computer that does special jobs. Apps help you with daily life tasks like communication, learning, and entertainment. Good apps are easy to use and solve real problems.

  • A bus schedule app shows when buses arrive at your stop. People waiting can see exact times and plan their day better. This reduces stress and waiting time in bad weather.
  • A homework helper app explains difficult math problems with simple steps. Students can learn at home when teachers are not available. It helps children understand school lessons better.

4. Bug

A bug is a mistake in a computer program. It makes the program work wrong. Bugs can cause problems like closing programs suddenly or showing wrong information. Programmers look for bugs and fix them so programs work well for everyone..

  • When you use a food delivery app and it shows the wrong restaurant location, this is a bug. People cannot find the restaurant and get frustrated. The app needs an update to fix this location problem.
  • If a music app plays the wrong song when you click a different song title, this is a bug. Users get confused hearing unexpected music. The programmers must find and correct this song selection error.
