Testing the Client
Taking every requirement the client has at face value can lead to trouble down the road. It is VERY important for you to test clients to determine what they are, or are not, willing to accept.
What is your alternative, or plan B, if the perfect candidate doesn't exist?
What has been missing from the candidates you've seen so far?
If I had a candidate with two out of the three top skills you listed, but at a slightly lower pay range, would you want to hear about them?

This gives me a good idea of what they are really focused on. It also gives me an opportunity to educate them if their expectations are not realistic as far as skills, experience, pay grade, etc.
This gets them to start considering alternatives or possibly compromising from their "wish list" to something more realistic.

Caution!
If the client is being unrealistic or is unwilling to compromise, it could be a red flag that the req is not very "fillable". Always discuss on a case by case basis with your Manager.
