- The overview will only show in boards with a minimum of 10 items and 5 columns
- Users cannot disable the overview card nor edit its contents, but they can up/down-vote the generated content.
Tech info
- When a user is first invited to a board, their permissions will be set to "Default" and will be determined by the General access role. If the General access role changes, so will all the users with the default role. After a board owner explicitly grants a role to a user, their role will stay as assigned even if the General access role changes.
- Item viewing permissions currently apply to all roles (except Owners) and cannot be customized per role.

- Cross-region data migration does not transfer board subscribers.
- API support for configuring board roles is not yet available.

Tech info
- With this enhancement, the validation engine now supports:> Simple validation rules (e.g. number > 500, date after 2025).> Conditional rules (e.g. if Status = Done then Owner must not be empty).> Cross-column dependencies (e.g. Budget required if Project Type = Enterprise).
- Once set, these rules will be enforced across all platform entry points: Boards (all views/modals), Forms, API, Mobile, Automations, Dashboards.
- Validation Rules are enforced server-side, meaning they cannot be bypassed by automations, API calls, or integrations. This ensures consistency but may require users to update existing workflows that would otherwise violate these new rules.
- Currently available for Work Management only - CRM, Dev and Service will be supported in Q4 2025.
- Not supported column types: Connected boards, Mirror, Formula, Files, Docs.
- Historical validations are out of scope for first release.

Limitations/out of scope
- Availability will be calculated only based on the capacity manager from which the action is performed.
- The action will only be possible from within the capacity manager, not planners or projects.
- We only provide one suggestion for a placeholder (an option to suggest another resource will be introduced in the future).
FAQ
- To suggest resources, we take into account information from the project board, resource attributes from the directory, and availability based on the capacity manager.
- We show one project at a time, user can select few or all resources to assign, per project.
Target audience
All monday board owners and board members on Enteprise and Pro accounts.
Selling points

- Organizations looking to centralize planning + incident documentation in the same system.
Tech info
- 2-way sync framework: The feature is built on a new framework that allows data to be synchronized bi-directionally between monday and third-party platforms.
- The framework is currently implemented for both Jira DC and Salesforce, with specific limitations for each platform that are going to be addressed in future releases.
- The integration uses polling, which runs every 3 minutes, instead of webhooks to securely fetch data, reducing the need for deep administrative permissions.
- Object and field-level mapping: Users can precisely configure which fields and objects to sync, with support for create, update, and field-level mapping on both sides.
- The sync primarily supports "primitive types" of fields such as string, text, number, date, and boolean, with some limitations on complex or custom fields.
- The initial release has several limitations, including no editing of existing configurations, no reconnect flow if the connection is lost, and a scale limit of 10 lookup fields to ensure performance.

Hide main table view
Work OS Platform
Feature description This feature allows board owners to hide the main table 'view' from collaborators, reducing overlaod and unnecessary noise. Board owners retain access to the main table, while other users cannot see it unless another view is available. This update can be applied to both new and existing boards.

Create item by card
Work OS Platform
Feature description Users now have the ability when creating a new item on a board, to create an item through the card view. This helps simplify item creation, giving a cleaner, easier to navigate creation flow. The board owners can now enforce this via item creation, and each board have its own settlings allowing items to be configured differently across the workspace.

Accounts that have already exceeded the 20 MT limit will not lose access and will not be charged at this time. For more details, contact your Account Manager.

Yearly cadence for time based automations
Work OS Platform
Feature description Previously, time-based automations only supported daily, weekly and monthly cadences. This update now supports yearly cadences, minimizing friction and forced workarounds. This is supported in both 'Every time period' and 'When date arrives' automations, which allows clients to gain a straightforward way to schedule yearly workflows without any ambiguity.

AI monetization changes
monday AI
We are rolling out significant AI monetization changes:
- A credit will be charged per item, rather than per action, once per 24 hours. For example, 3 AI columns that perform different actions on one item within 24 hours will now count as one credit instead of 3 credits.
- Previously, all accounts received 500 free AI credits at the start of each month. Now, all accounts will receive a one-time credit trial, after which they will need to purchase an add-on (bucket) of credits.
- Selected AI capabilities will now be available “On demand”, free of charge. This includes Text to filter, Text to workflow, Formula builder, Docs assistant, Update AI summary, and more!
