EARTH SYSTEMS: INTERCONNECTED SPHERES OF EARTH
- Biosphere – All living things that adapt and interact in ecosystems.
- Atmosphere – The air around Earth that controls weather and climate.
- Lithosphere – The solid land made of rocks, soil, and mountains.
- Hydrosphere – All water on Earth, including oceans, rivers, and ice.
EARTH’S RESOURCES
Energy Resources – Solar and wind are renewable. Coal and oil can run out and cause pollution. Air and Air Pollution – Gases from cars and factories pollute the air. Planting more trees can help us fight that. Water and Water Pollution – Water is needed for life. However through trash on ocean can make the water unclean. Soil and Land – Soil grows our food. Erosion and waste can damage it. Wildlife and Wilderness –They both shame nature where Wildness is green, and Wildlife need shelther, and food.
GLOBAL ENVIRONMENTAL PROBLEMS AND ISSUES
Human Population – More people means a more food, water, and space. Potable Water – Clean water is limited, so it must be used wisely. Climate Change – Pollution and CO₂ cause Earth’s temperature to rise. Sustainability – Using resources carefully helps protect the planet for the future. Species Dying – Animals and plants can die out when habitats are destroyed. Air Quality – Dirty air harms health and the environment. Food Production – We need enough healthy food for everyone on Earth. Deforestation – Cutting too many trees harms animals and nature’s balance. Waste Management – Trash and chemicals must be handled safely to avoid pollution.
