Pokemon(short for pocket monster) is a Japanese franchise created in 1996 that combines video game, animated series, trading cards, toys, and more. its motto:¨Gotta catch em all¨

  • Each region has its own unique Pokemon fauna, culture, and challenges.
  • trainers set out on journeys with their Pokemo to train, battle, and participate in tournaments.
  • Along the way,they must deal with rivals, strategic decisions, and unexpected challenges.

what is a pokemon?

  • they are creatures with special abilities. Some example:
  • Pikachu(Electric):the most iconic.
  • Charmander(fire):evolves into Charizard.
  • Bulbasaur(Grass/Poison):has a plant on its back.

each pokemon has:

  • Elemental type(Water,Fire,Grass)
  • Evolutions(more powerfull forms)
  • Moves(attacks and Abilities)

some pokemon level up gaining experience, while others transform into new forms through items or special conditions.

each type has strengths and weaknesses:

According to a study conducted by Stanford University, they claim that playing Pokemon from early age altered your brain. these scientist discovered that a part of the brain called the fusiform gyrus reacted to pokemon images. This area of the brain is responsible for processing complex images, so it specializes in recognizing Pokemon. This helped many people improve their memory and comprehesion, and these people had doctorates or high-ranking positions.
