Our role at Jacada as a responsible operator

We must ensure that all our DMC partners have read and understood our policies around child safeguarding.

Never include visits to orphanages, schools (during school hours), or children-led performances in itineraries, even if pressed by the client or DMC.

If clients want to donate to a school or are curious to learn more about local education, they can visit the school out of school hours to meet with a teacher, as long as the children are NOT there.

Do not condone or facilitate direct giving or engagement with children (e.g., buying from child vendors, encouraging interactions).

We do not use imagery of children, unless we have written informed consent from an empowered parent or guardian. If in doubt, avoid photography of children altogether.

We must report any child safeguarding concerns quickly and appropriately.
