L1 Lingua nativa, materna, lingua madre. La prima lingua che si impara durante l’infanzia. La lingua ‘della pancia’.

La lingua del cuore

La lingua madre è per tutti noi la lingua del cuore, delle emozioni e degli affetti. Per i bambini, è la lingua delle coccole, dei giochi, delle ninne nanne, della complicità e dei primi racconti. Contiene le parole che sussurrano, consolano, sgridano, rassicurano, insegnano. Fa parte di un patrimonio pre-simbolico collegato a esperienze corporee; permea profondamente la nostra storia e l’immagine del mondo che, grazie a essa, noi ci costruiamo. Non è dunque “un guanto, uno strumento usa e getta. Essa innerva la nostra vita psicologica, i nostri ricordi, associazioni, ‘schemi mentali’, come scriveva Tullio De Mauro. […] La “prima” lingua che si acquisisce nell’infanzia non ostacola i successivi apprendimenti, ma, al contrario, può aprire a nuovi linguaggi e conoscenze. (Graziella Favaro).
