Bodily Injury Liability

This helps cover the costs of accident-related injuries incurred by the other party in an accident you’re directly liable for.

Property Damage Liability

This helps cover the cost of property damage that you’re directly liable for in an accident. EX: You drive over a patch of ice which causes you to lose control of your vehicle and hit someone’s fence. The property owner who has the fence would be paid under these limits.

Underinsured Motorists

Pays for the difference between your actual damages for injuries and the liability insurance limits on the at-fault driver’s insurance policy if it’s not enough to cover your damages they owe for.

Comprehensive Coverage

Covers your vehicle’s damages that result from “other than collision” losses after your deductible is met. This includes covering glass and windshield plus damages from weather-related conditions, animals, falling objects, or if you’re vehicle is stolen are typically covered under comprehensive.

Uninsured Motorists Property Damage

Covers your vehicle’s damages if involved in an accident with an uninsured at-fault driver or a hit-and-run vehicle.

Collision Coverage

This covers your vehicle’s physical damage from a direct impact or accident loss with another object or vehicle or upset of vehicle after your deductible is met. EX: Your car is rear-ended, which pushes your car into the car in front of you. The collision coverage pays for your front and rear damages after your deductible is met.

Roadside Assistance or Towing & Labor

If your vehicle becomes disabled, this may cover any towing, roadside, and labor costs to have it moved from its place of disablement.

Rental Reimbursement

May cover rental car expenses up to specific limits during repairs on a covered claim.

Medical Payments or Personal Injury Protection (PIP)

Medical Payments covers accident-related medical bills and funeral costs. PIP covers what Medical Payments does as well as lost wages, disability benefits and household services.
