SO WHY?

The Audit Team will determine if the school is safe, functional, and conducive to learning.

Conducted biannually (January and Summer Break)

Assess building cleaniless and accessiblity

Classrooms, cafeteria, library, gym, hallways, etc. Assessments will include visuals, checklists, equipment ratings, and condition ratings.

  • Several science rooms reported materials not stored properly & limited materials available for an entire class set
  • Softball field on right side of school is not usable/playable at all. 3/4 covered by grass and huge holes of sand pits
  • C-Wing Stairs are in dire need of repair-stairs have "chipped off" leading to uneven surfaces

Several classrooms have faulty AC and heating ventilation systems. Teachers frequently complain of uncomfortable temperatures in their rooms-repair is not completed in timely manner N.J.A.C. 6A:26-6.3(d)

Technology Audit Needs

For a school of over 900 students, the computer lab only has 12 computers. 9 in working order. ONLY Science classrooms have charging stations There is no routine maintenance scheduled for student chromebooks. PROACTIVE RATHER THAN REACTIVE
