Start

Test Prep:

1) Complete the video training and send me your certificate.2) Read through the Proctor Test Day Guide 3) Gain access to Test Tay Toolkit: You should have received an email from College Board. 4) Inform the students they willl be testing with their 1st period teacher on Wednesday unless told otherwise.--Powell to Burt --Capraun plus overflow to Hammonds --Swanson-Bryan and Trahan to Stevens

Before Test Day

Room Prep:

1) Desks are in rows facing forward.2) Any wall materials that could help on the test should be covered. 3) Have a visible clock.

Day of the Test

  1. Pick up testing day materials in the PLC room. I will be in there by 7:15.
    1. Sign-In Tickets
    2. Scratch Paper (1 Sheet per student)
    3. Seating Chart
    4. Rosters
    5. Door signs
  1. Post this information on the board:
    1. Wifi Information
    2. Bluebook check-in directions poster and room code found in Test Day Toolkit.
3. Post testing sign on door.

As Students Enter the Classroom...

1. Students should only have their Chromebooks, charger, and a water if they choose.2. Backpacks should remain in the hallway.

Permitted/Prohibited Materials

Getting Started

  • Students will use the Chromebook App called BlueBook
  • Proctors will use Test Day Toolkit
    • Take attendance
    • Access the test day script
    • Start the test (The script will display your testing room's unique code.)
    • Monitor student progress

Taking Attendance

  1. Post paper attendance outside your door for Zuli
  2. Log in to Test Day Toolkit
  3. Locate the Attendance page (After the room readiness check) in TDT
  4. Mark students present in TDT after they enter the room.
  5. Students will click the "STAR" icon, sign-in using the ticket provided, and click the "EXAM CHECK-IN" button, enter the room code, and follow the instructions.
  • The room code will let students check in to Bluebook.
  • Students can complete Bluebook check-in only after you mark them present.
  • Once students are checked-in, they will have some remiders to read, type a security pledge, and clear their desk.

Starting the Test

  1. Click "NEXT STEP" on the Attendance screen.
  2. Begin reading the script
    1. Pay close attention to the labels that indicate which parts should be read aloud.
    2. No need to read about accommodations
  3. Read the proctor script
  4. Have students write their name on the scratch paper provided.
  5. Provide students the start code.

During the Test

  1. Complete seating chart.
  2. After students start their test, click "NEXT STEP" to navigate to the "MONITORING DASHBOARD".
    1. This allows for you to monitor the testing status of each student.
    2. Things to notice: Students status states "Exited" or "Submission Pending".

After the Test

  1. Confirm all students have submitted the test correctly. They will see a "CONGRATULATIONS" screen.
  2. Collect materials and turn in to Pattrick in the PLC room
    1. Testing tickets
    2. ALL scratch paper provided labeled with student name. Make sure they are not torn.
    3. Post "Finished" sign on the door.
3. Return personal items when we release to the next class. 4. Our goal is to have students go to their 5th period classes.

Reminders:

1. There are no accommodations.

2. The test times the students individually and starts the break automatically.

Things to remember:

3. There is a built-in calculator in Bluebook.

4. Late testers will report to the library if necessary.5. Unscheduled breaks = lost testing time. 6. NO snacks! Water ONLY! 7. Bluebook does not allow students to move on until the timer is up. 8. Students should NOT shut their Chromebooks during testing nor breaks! 9. Nothing can be at the student's desk except what we provide them.
