The OVerall Impact of Vaping

Heart: Nicotine raises your heart rate and blood pressure, increasing risk of heart disease. Brain: Nicotine changes brain development especially those under 25. Mouth and Throat: Vaping can cause dry mouth, gum disease, and throat irritation. Stomach: Some users report nausea and stomach pain from vaping chemicals.

Vaping Impact on the Lungs

Good Lung

Bad Lung

Vapes contain harmful chemicals like formaldehyde, acrolein, and tiny particles that damage lung tissue. Nicotine narrows airways and inflames lung tissue, making breathing harder. Vaping increases risk of chronic bronchitis and asthma flare-ups.

Formaldehyde is a strong smelling, colorless gas used in making products and preserving things, but it can be harmful if you're exposed to too much of it. Acrolein is a smelly, colorless or yellowish liquid chemical that forms when things like oil or tobacco burn, and it can be harmful to breathe in.

Mental Effects of Vaping

Nicotine addiction worsens anxiety and depression symptoms. Vaping can increase impulsivity and reduce attention span, especially those with ADHD. Some users report mood swings, irritability, and withdrawl symptoms when trying to quit. Vape culture and peer presure can lead to social stress and isolation.
