Weather conditions
This year we are facing the drier winter in the lat 5 years. May–Oct 2025 (1,233.5 mm) is 46.2% lower than the same period in 2024 (2,292.5 mm). 2025 is 23.9% lower than the 2021–2023 average for May–Oct ( Aprox 1,621.2 mm). Against the 2021–2024 average (Aprox 1,789.0 mm) 2025 is 31.0% lower. Uneven rainfall (long dry periods interrupted by localized heavy storms) has increased our need for: 1.- Targeted irrigation scheduling 2.- close soil moisture monitoring 3.- localized drainage/erosion checks particularly in lots with lower elevation.
