What's one small habit that helps you feel fresh and clean everyday?
pERSONAL HYGIENE bASICS
Body Hygiene
Shower:
- Wash for at least 5-10 mintues
- Use a wash cloth or loofah
- Use soap that help with odor such as Dove,Dial or Irish spring
- Hit the T-zone: underarms, neck, body, private areas, feet
- Use deodoramt that works for you- stick, roll on, or aerosol can
Hands and Feet
- Keep them cut and clean
- Avoid walking bare foot
- Hydrate skin with lotion or oils
Body Hair
- Shave, Trim, or Nair body hair to assist with trapped body odors!
Oral Care
- Brush twice a day for two minutes with fluoride toothpaste
- Floss daily
- Brush your tongue
- Don't rinse after brushing (let fluoride set on teeth)
- Visit your dentist at least twice a year.
Helpful Tip:
Avoid using mouthwash right after brushing with fluoride toothpaste, as it can wash away the fluoride. Instead, use it at a different time, such as after a meal.

Detangle hair before and after washing
Wash your hair rgularly to remove oil and buildup
Use the right products for your hair
Shampoo first then condition
Menstrual Care
- Change menstrual products (pads, tampons, cups) frequently—every 4-8 hours for pads/tampons
- Always wash your hands before and after changing products
- Keep the genital area clean and dry with mild, fragrance-free soap and water (May use frangrance-free feminie wipes)
- Wear breathable cotton underwear
Knowing what Size to use?
Heavy flow: Days when you experience more blood loss. You may need a "Super" or "Super Plus" tampon or a heavy absorbency pad to prevent leaks.
Medium flow: Mid-period days. A "Regular" size tampon or pad is often sufficient for medium flow.
Light flow: When your period starts or tapers off. You can use a "Light" tampon or pad.
