I was selected as the Southwest Ohio Content Lead for Teach For America, a nationally recognized nonprofit prganization. In this role, I supported first and second year teachers all year round in large group, small group, and one-on-one settings. I lead monthly professional development workshops, enabling new teachers to rapidly adapt and succeed in challenging school environments. As an ITx at a nationally recognized nonprofit university, I ensured the seamless delivery of teacher preparation courses in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment. I gained proficiency in Open edX and regularly handled technical tasks such as generating SSO links. I contributed to the writing and review of metadata for over 20,000 learning assets across 177 courses and built courses in the LMS 50% faster than the standard program redevelopment timeline. In addition to executing technical work, I also project managed course builds and updates. My role involved extensive cross-functional collaboration with instructional designers, technologists, and project managers to maintain and improve existing courses.
