Learn More About Each Musician!

In between our virtual lessons, we will complete mini-lessons where we will get to know our featured American musician a little bit better! These mini-lessons will review some facts or important things we have already learned, listen to some examples of their music, as well as learning a bit about why that musician might be so important! After looking through the mini-lesson, be sure to answer the question or complete the assignment that goes along with the lesson.

AN ARTISTS "LEGACY"

Your "legacy" is the impact or mark you have left behind on the world. Every musician we will learn about has left an important legacy not only on the history of American music, but on music all over the world. When we are learning about an artist's legacy, we are learning why they are so important and what they did for music. So let's read about our artist's legacy, and learn why we are talking about them in the first place!
