Let me read the Example Text
The Nameless Girl
The girl walked alone, dirty and starved. Yesterday, a fierce gale overshadowed the world, leaving gritty traces in her head of tangled hair. Today, matching her darkened view of the city, grey clouds gathered. This was a place where she appreciated little, gave little and loved even less. Now wearing a vacant, detached expression, dragging her torn coat behind her, she aimlessly wandered through this city of hopelessness.
The girl paused and stared at her reflection in a broken shop window. It certainly was difficult to work out if the image it returned once held a smile. Might her cracked portrait be a mirror of her inside world? Could she possibly be fixed? The acorn she held, clutched so tightly in her hand, seemed to radiate heat. She held it tighter still as she passed by.
From the shadows, a shape moved towards her in the darkness. A lonely street dog approached, maybe to befriend her, then nudged her leg gently. With her face fixed into a scowl, a squint in her eyes mistrusting him, she reacted, “What are you staring at? You’re not mine and I’m not yours.” The dog cowered a little, then disappeared into the shadows again.
Hungrily, she searched through a nearby bin for scraps with numb fingers, unfolding wrappers in desperate hope of even a whisper of food. In a defeated street with broken streetlights, she scanned for shelter. In a long-forgotten alley, she lay down her oversized coat – her blanket, her home. She should cocoon herself inside and wait for the nighttime cold to bite. Yet still, she held onto her acorn. She thought, quietly to herself, perhaps a seed of hope would grow tonight.
