Let me read the Example Text
The Queen and The Apple
It had been such a busy morning. Gently shaking her head in frustration, Snow White had just completed the tidying. Then came the knock. Delighted at the thought of company, she eagerly opened the door. She smiled in anticipation of who should be behind it. Could it be one of her seven friends? Were they bringing her good news? Slowly, the door creaked open, the sunlight outside illuminating Snow White’s loveliness. There in contrast, stood the evil, jealous queen behind the wooden door. She met Snow White’s warm smile and her eyes narrowed with dislike, disdain and the ugliness of envy. Her veiny, aged hands were rubbing together as she forced a sly smile onto her cruel face. Snow White felt a sense of unease.
“My lovely one!” the queen cunningly crooned. “Oh, my lovely one! I have brought for you the shiniest, juiciest, most delicious apple to enjoy!” Averting her gaze from Snow White’s beauty, she pushed it at her. Snow White accepted it with grateful wonderment. “Why, thank you!” she cried. “How very kind!” So pleased was Snow White, she did not hesitate to receive this gift of poisonous deceit. “Eat it,” the queen ordered whilst her eyes were narrowing. Pausing only to inhale the inciting fragrance, Snow White sank her pearl teeth into the flesh of the crisp apple. Just then, the girl exclaimed, “Delicious!” The queen broke a smile of satisfaction. She knew it wouldn’t be long… and it wasn’t. Just then, Snow White clutched her throat in confusion, dizzily sank to the floor and closed her eyes of innocence. She coughed, spluttered and choked her last breath as the apple’s remains were rolling across the floor. The Queen snickered quietly and exhaled in approval.
Oh, and what was this… a handsome prince in the doorway? Was this a chance to provide the kiss of life? No, there would be no room for a resolution here - not a chance. A gasp of horror on his face with widening eyes… an easy victim, the queen thought. “No!” the prince cried, “Tell me it isn’t so!” The heartless queen faced him, clutching a sharp, poisoned arrow under her black cape. The cruel grin now returned to her face. It was time for him to meet a sudden end, too. Lurching towards him, she drove the piercing point through his anguished heart. He withered to the floor in crippling grief, of course. She stepped over his lifeless body, allowed herself a final smile and uttered the words, “This time, there will be no happy ending.”
