Hey. You're finally awake. I pulled you from the wreckage of that cargo-freighter... nasty stuff man. I brought you back to my place, yanno with all the police runnin' around.
stranger
I also pulled your backpack from the wreckage. These coded documents nearly fell out, you mind putting these back in order?
Gunther
Woah, I didn't realize how deep cover you were. I'm Gunther, by the way, I'm also a part of the Revolutionary Forces. My ID# is GG#2167. I think I might be your contact in Cap' City.
MISSION 1
underground lab
Gunther
Here. Use the password given to you by command and login to my terminal. It's safe. You should get your directive from there. Good luck.
Dr.Calvin
If you're seeing this… it's because I no longer exist. I need to ask you a few questions before I tell you what you've come to hear. It's the only way.
dr.Calvin
Your responses have unlocked an important discovery. Go see HNRY-8. He has the last piece of your directive. Good luck, my friend.
Mission 2
The Clone Club
Gunther
Calvin, dead?? When did that happen? And now he sends you to find that obsolete cyborg, HNRY-8… I don’t know what answers he'll give you, but there’s no turning back now, I'm with you to the end.
HNRY-8

HNRY-8
- Finally. It took you two long enough.
gunther
- Were you waiting for us?
HNRY-8
- Dr. Calvin predicted this moment. A long time ago.
gunther
- What happened to him? What aren’t you saying?
HNRY-8
- There is no time for nostalgia. There is no time, period. Right now, I need to check your abilities...
HNRY-8
GUNTHER
HNRY-8
- Calvin knew you would evolve. He programmed the message to be sent decades ago, hoping you would develop consciousness.
You are a cyborg, the both of you. Like me. But I was limited in my ability.
You let yourself grow, evolve, become more human. And if you reached this point, I was instructed to force-wipe your minds.
I was created for this… I feel no guilt.
The protocol requires it. You must be reset.
gunther
- Was my whole life... an experiment?
interlude
A fight ensues. HNRY-8 lunges at Gunther first, and you make a break for the back exit. Running through trash and rubble, you make you way back to the street, and assume a casual, unsuspicious stroll to the next block. Fearing the worst, you start to make plans about how you can save your memories. A simple disk-drive? No, too flimsy. A solid-state memory bus? No, too expensive. Nevermind that, how would I even upload my conciousness in the first place? Right about the time this question crosses your mind, Gunther crosses paths with you in a full sprint. You both dust yourselves off and continue on your journey.
You
- Oh my god, are you okay?
gunther
- I'm battered, but I'm up. HNRY-8's gone.
you
- Gone, like-
gunther
- What's it sound like? He's gone.
You
- Okay, well we've still got another problem on our hands. How are we going to save our memories?
gunther
- I've got an idea for that. Follow me.
Mission 3

I don't know if I'm AI or something else… but these memories belong to me. They are my life. I need to organize them before they are erased. Before I disappear.
