CKLA PD - Monday, October 20th

  • Draft Schedule:

iReady Coaching

  • JFK is receiving iReady coaching this year. This will consist of two coaching cycles with nine identified teachers. These teachers will include both general and special education staff, selected solely on the basis that they teach math.
  • Teachers not formally identified in the schedule are still welcome to take part in the coaching opportunity through observation. I know coverage with subs can be challenging, but, when possible, this would be very beneficial for them.
  • Danielle Rothstein is our i-Ready coach - Emily and I are meeting with her tomorrow to learn more and begin planning.
  • Each coaching cycle will include:
    • Learning walks
    • Planning sessions with the coach and identified teacher
    • Co-taught or modeled lessons
    • A debrief session
  • Please let me know if you'd like to volunteer to participate, if I don't receive 9 volunteers, I will choose teachers.
