The vast majority of human history occurred before civilization. This journey was defined by a few major leaps: adopting bipedalism (walking upright), which spurred the growth of a larger brain. Crucially, the controlled use of fire provided the necessary energy for this brain expansion. Ultimately, Homosapiens triumphed over others due to our development of complex culture and abstract planning abilities.
