He is the Royal Governor of Massachusetts. He entered Harvard at 13 and graduated in 1727. He may not agree with the actions of the English King and Parliament but he will always obey them. There is nothing so easy as to persuade people that they are badly governed."

He became a printer in Philadelphia and is quite well known. He is a member of the Continental Congress and opposes most of the things England does. "Any society that will give up a little liberty to gain a little security will deserve neither and lose both."
