It is time to bring our project into the classroom! We suggest setting up a dedicated project corner where children’s work can be displayed. This space could include:
- Artistic creations related to the project
- Information and observations that the children have gathered
- A model of the lake

Preparatory Class Step by Step, “Dr. Ioan Mihalyi de Apșa” Gymnasium School, Sighetu Marmației, Maramureș, Romania. Teachers: Godja Adina Veronica and Berinde Măricuța. Our Lake Corner.
Edina Đorović, "Ladybugs", kindergarten "Šumica", Subotica Serbia
Our project corner consists of several elements.
On the board, we’ve displayed a map, flags of our project partners, various postcards, and photographs.
Beneath the board, we created a model of a lake, filled with materials such as pebbles, sand, and seashells.
The fish in the lake are made from a variety of materials: collage paper, felt, cardboard, and recycled plastic.

To our lake we added maps of Europe and Croatia, where we signed interesting facts about European lakes ( the biggest, smallest, deapest...) and how many lakes each country in our Project has, and also interesting facts about Croatian lakes

Children made our lake from natural elements, fabric, rocks, wood peaces and paper, that they glued to the bottom and painted. Later they explored if it's ok and added some sand..because, in lakes we have also the sand. Children often play here, changing apearence, with loose parts, adding animals...

Our small lake
We worked in groups and put together the individual parts of our project. Our corner includes: the lake, the little fish we prepared for the project’s logo, the map of Europe, the flags of our partner countries, the eTwinning logo, and the title of our project. It also features leaves we collected during our walk to the lake.
Our Lake Corner
Popovici Tatiana Adriana - Grădinița P.P.„Curcubeul copiilor”, Arad, România
During our expedition to discover the lakes, we collected shells, chestnuts, stones, cones, and sticks. Using these natural treasures, we created a small lake in our classroom. The children drew fish, ducks, and little boats. In the center, we placed the project logo, surrounded by the flags of the participating countries. We also added the fish proposed by our team for the logo.
The children worked with enthusiasm and imagination, joyfully contributing to the creation and decoration of our thematic corner.

In our group, we have created a project corner where little explorers can play, create, and discover the world of water. Here, children model the life of lake inhabitants, observe how their created characters “live,” and through water play, they develop curiosity, creativity, and learning through experience. We decorated the corner with a project map featuring the flags of participating countries, as well as the project, eTwinning, and our kindergarten logos, which remind us that we are part of an international community. 🌍💦
