Introdução
A Educação Ambiental é um processo educativo que busca desenvolver a compreensão dos conceitos relacionados ao meio ambiente, sustentabilidade, preservação e conservação. Seu objetivo é formar cidadãos conscientes e críticos, capazes de interagir de forma responsável com o meio ambiente e de adotar práticas sustentáveis no seu cotidiano.

Os cinco objetivos da educação
- Sensibilizar: Conscientizar sobre a importância de cuidar do meio ambiente.
- Formar e capacitar: Ensinar a resolver problemas ambientais.
- Participação social: Incentivar a comunidade a agir e decidir sobre o meio ambiente.
- Desenvolvimento sustentável: Integrar economia, sociedade e meio ambiente sem comprometer o futuro.
- Valorizar culturas: Respeitar as diferentes formas de relação com o ambiente.
Quando é que se formou?
Formou-se em 1970, mas tem registos da década de 60, um período marcado pelo crescimento das preocupações globais com a poluição, a perda de biodiversidade e a exploração dos recursos naturais, posteriormente, com a carta de Belgrado em 1975, que definiram a sua importância e princípios em nível globais nível globais

O uso de energias sustentáveis é importante para proteger o meio ambiente e reduzir a poluição. Fontes como solar, eólica e hídrica são limpas, renováveis e ajudam a combater as mudanças climáticas. Além disso, promovem energia local, desenvolvimento económico, garantindo um futuro mais saudável para o planeta.
