High School Special Education Teacher

As a Special Education Teacher at Commonwealth Charter Academy (CCA), I provide individualized academic support to high school students with diverse learning needs. I meet with students weekly in a virtual setting to work toward IEP goals, using targeted instruction and accommodations. I collect and analyze progress monitoring data regularly to ensure students are making measurable growth. My role includes collaborating with families and support staff to adjust strategies as needed and maintain a student-centered approach to learning.

How can YOU help your child learn technology?

Why is Technology IMPORTANT?

Technology plays a vital role in supporting student learning and engagement in our classroom. It allows us to differentiate instruction, provide immediate feedback, and create interactive experiences that meet the diverse needs of our learners. With digital tools, my students can access content at their own pace, practice skills in a variety of formats, and receive support in real time. Technology also helps us collect meaningful data to monitor progress and adjust instruction. Ultimately, it prepares students for success in a digital world by building essential skills for communication, collaboration, and problem-solving.
