Just as we focus on plant, vehicle, and personal safety, keeping our workplace secured is another way we live this value.
Our security system is designed to protect you, your colleagues, and our workplace. But remember, safety is a two way street. ImageFIRST will provide you the tools and training, but it's your responsibility to use them correctly. This training will walk you through the features and provide guidance on how to use our security system.
KISI
Our IT Infrastructure team has introduced a door access control system, KISI, to strengthen workplace security and safety.
With KISI, your phone becomes your key, giving you secure access to designated office spaces. This ensures a safer, more secure and convenient way to move throughout the workplace.
Mobile Device Registration
To begin you will need a mobile device. In order to register your device the following steps must be followed:
Account Setup Once your account has been added to the system (will occur during onboarding). KISI will send an email stating door access has been granted to your ImageFIRST email.
Download the app Open the email on your phone and tap the link for your device (iOS or Android) to download the KISI app.

Sign In
Once the KISI application has been installed to your mobile device the following steps would need to be followed to ensure compliance.
Launch the KISI application and enter your ImageFIRST credentials
KISI will send you a verification sign in link to your ImageFIRST email address
The link can be opened on a mobile device, and browsers such as Edge or Chrome work best.
Access View
Once you are logged in, the dashboard displays the doors associated with your assigned access levels. The view automatically adjusts as permissions are added, removed, or updated, ensuring the access remains accurate and aligned with each user's authorization.
Highlights the location linked to users permissions.
Search bar allows users to easily find specific doors.
List view shows doors assigned to the user along with their access state.
Accessing Doors
Once the KISI app is installed, your device will seamlessly connect with supported readers. View the different options available for accessing buildings:
MotionSense will allow you to wave your hands at the reader while the phone remains in your pocket. This feature has to be supported by your phone.

Identify the main features and functions of the KISI system
Manual Unlock doors by opening the KISI app and tap the door you wish to unlock. This feature allows you to control access directly from your phone.
Tap your phone, (even when locked) against the reader to unlock the door. The reader securely verifies your mobile credential in the background, making access fast and convenient.
