Our Product
The motocross bike is our flagship — we were born for this, and we’ll keep carrying it forward! The most aggressive track model is the KTM ‘SX’, but we also offer smoother models for those who enjoy riding on trails or through the woods, like the KTM ‘EXC’.
We also have models for those who love mountain passes and winding roads — our naked bikes. We produce two types: the KTM ‘SuperDuke’, a more powerful model with much higher engine capacities, and the KTM ‘Duke’.
And in recent years, we have also started producing MotoGP bikes — lightweight, high-performance models that are exclusive to production.
Production
Since we started production, it has always been handled exclusively by us, sourcing the best materials to build our engines. Since we can’t reveal too much, we’ll just say that 80% of the steel used in a bike comes from (a country with high-quality steel).
Our products were born in the 1960s, and from the very beginning we specialized in motocross bikes. Thanks to competitions and the results we achieved, we were able to grow as a company. Since the 2000s, we have also been developing touring, road, and track-exclusive motorcycles — but we have never lost our passion for motocross, and we keep on winning.

Born in 1934 in Austria as a small repair shop. “KTM” stands for Kraftfahrzeug Trunkenpolz Mattighofen. The iconic orange color appeared in the ’90s — bold and unique! KTM has won hundreds of world titles in motocross and enduro. Not just bikes — KTM also built the X-Bow sports car. Motto: “READY TO RACE” – speed and passion in every detail.
