Think about a time you had to find a receipt or financial document. How easy or stressful was it?

Explain how accurate recordkeeping impacts tax reporting and financial decision-making.

Experiment Phase

Walk participants through identifying differences, discussing risks of disorganized records, and highlighting benefits.

Review both examples and note missing or incomplete information in the disorganized version. Discuss with a partner how these differences could affect taxes or financial decisions. Identify one habit from the organized example you could start immediately.
