Tradicional food market
Kongowea Market
- On the sixth day of our trip, we are going to spend the afternoon at the Traditional Food Market in Nairobi. It will be very interesting because we'll be able to see a different kind of market than in our country! We'll be able to try new foods and have a different experience than usual.
The Kasa
Hotel
The Kasa hotel is located in Melindi and will be our accommodation for these 8 days. This hotel is spectacular because it has a swimming pool with a beautiful view of the beach. I'm sure we'll take advantage of it to take lots of photos.
Tamarind Restaurant
Restaurant
- On the fifth day of our trip we will eat at the Tamarind restaurant where we will try traditional Kenyan food such as: Nyama Choma, Sukuma Wiki, Wali wa Nazi and Kachumbari. In addition, we will also be able to enjoy the beautiful panoramic view of the sea and watch the stunning sunset.
Safari
1st day
- On the second day of our trip we're going on a safari in the city of Malindi, where we'll see giraffes, lions, monkeys, leopards, and cheetahs. It's going to be a lot of fun, a unique experience, and we'll also take lots of photos of the animals we see during the safari.
Kayaking and canoeing
Activity without meals included
- On the 7th day of our trip, we're going to do two super fun activities: canoeing and kayaking. These are activities we've really wanted to do, and we're going to take lots of pictures and really enjoy this moment. We can't wait for the day; it's going to be awesome!
Safari
2ºst day
- On second day of our Safari we will zebras, hippos and elephants. We are quite excited to see zebras, i'ts very interesting that they have so many stripes. We will see a great variety of animals. We are also curious to see the size of the safari.
Mapango
Restaurant
- On our last day, we'll have lunch at the Mapango restaurant, which has a beautiful view of the sea. We've heard the food there is delicious, including traditional Kenyan dishes like ugali and mandazi. We really hope it's good, and this will be our last lunch in Kenya.
Snorkeling and Diving
Activity with meal included
On fourth day we will go snorkeling, wich is a water activity where we can swim with fish and explore the seabed. We found it quite interesting because you don't need to know how to swim to enjoy this experience.
Watamu Beach
Our last Day
- On our last day, we're going to Watamu Beach, because they say it looks like paradise, with its blue waters and coral reefs stretching as far as the eye can see. That's how we'll enjoy our last day of the trip before returning to Portugal.

- On the fifth day of our trip, we decided to eat at this restaurant in Mombasa because it's known for its welcoming atmosphere and variety of culinary options, such as Italian, American, Indian, African, and Arabic food. It's going to be a lot of fun trying all these different kinds of food!

- We are going to visit Fort Jesus in the city of Mombasa. We are visiting this monument because it was built by order of Philip I, who was the King of Portugal at the time, and also because we were curious to visit it as it is a UNESCO World Heritage Site..
Melinde
City
- Melindi is a beautiful city in Kenya located near the beach, and it's a great place to spend a few hours enjoying the view. We chose to stay in this city because it has many interesting activities to help us make the most of this incredible trip.

We chose this restaurant because it's outdoors and also has local dishes such as seafood, meet, and vegetarian options. We're going to have dinner there because when you dine there, you dine under the stars. The restaurant located on the grounds of the Beneath The Baobabes festival in Kilifi.
Baby Marrow

-Baby Marrow is a restaurant that serves Italian food, has a very romantic atmosphere and wide variety of pizzas, pastas and even seafood, they also have a vegan option. We'll probably choose the "normal" option. As soon as we finish eating, we'll give our option about the restaurant.
Vasco da Gama pillar

- We are going to visit this monument because it was built by Vasco da Gama, one of the most important navigators in Portuguese history, and also because we will have a beautiful view of the site where Vasco da Gama's pillar is located.
Shiva Temple

- On the morning of the 6th day of our trip, we're going to the Shiva temple because we want to feel the gentle and tranquil atmosphere and see the beautiful gardens, as it was a place recommended to us because it's very calm and peaceful.
Tamarind Mombasa

On the sixth day of our trip we're going to have lunch at Tamarind Mombasa, which is the best restaurant in Mombasa! This restaurant is known for its delicious food and ocean views! We're going to take lots of photos of the view.
Mombassa Tusks

We're going to vist Mombasa Tusks because we found it very interesting that they form the letter "M"- they made this initial to honor the Bristish royal family in 1952. We found it quite interesting because nowadays it represents the wildlife heritage pof Kenya. We're going to enjoy it a lot!
Amandina

- On the second-to-last day of our trip, we're going to have dinner at the Amandina restaurant where we are going to try seafood from the Indian Ocean. This restaurant was recommended to us because it has a very pleasant and tranquil atmosphere..
Portuguese Chapel

We are going to visit the Portuguese Chapel because we find it intersenting that it was built when the Portuguese colonized this territory. After discovering the history of this monument, we are going to visit more monuments similar to it to see if there are any differences between them.
Coco Beach

- On the first day of our trip, we chose to have lunch at the Coco Beach restaurant overlooking the beach so we could enjoy a beautiful view of the sea. We are going to be able to eat seafood at this restaurant! It will be a fantastic way to start the trip.
