Grammaire

Reflexive verbs

Reflexive verbs are used for actions you do to yourself. They include a reflexive pronoun.

se disputer -> to get angry at je me dispute -> I get angry at tu te disputes -> you get angry at il/elle/on se dispute -> s/he gets angry at

If the verb begins with a vowel sound, the pronoun changes:

je m'amuse -> I have a good time/amuse myself il s'amuse -> he has a good time/amuses himself
