Based on your degree audit, we see you are pursuing a BS in nursing.
We encourage you to contact a Spanish faculty member about Spanish courses next semester and in future semesters.

A major or minor in Modern Languages equips you with key skills and knowledge for a globalized, dynamic world.
It can combine well with a career in health care!
While learning another language is a challenge and requires time and dedication, it is also very rewarding and has the potential to enrich and expand your personal and academic objectives.
A Modern Language major consists of 30 hours at the elementary II level (Span 1602) or above.
We can show you how to complete a minor?
You could also double major.
You may have time to pursue two majors!
We will show you how to complete an ML minor and also how to pursue a double major/dual degree (BA + BS).
The first class to count in the major / minor is Span 1602 (Elementary Spanish II).
The major is 30 hours and the minor is 21.
So, the next Spanish course counts toward the major/minor
Since you are a SOPHOMORE, your current graduation date would likely be SPRING 2028. We'll show you a sample major plan.
Here's a sample schedule
Here is a potential plan for you to complete a major in Modern Languages.
MAJOR – 30 credits – 10 classes
After taking Span 1601, you need 30 more credits (10 classes) for the major and 21 credits (7 classes) for the minor.
