No matter which Beatle member is selected as the fan favorite, together they created a group that would go on to become one of the most influential rock bands of all time. When they formed in Liverpool, England, they began a cultural movement that would span decades and generations. Their bright suits, floral shirts, bold vests, and mop top hairstyles inspired eager listeners to visit stores to adopt the latest look. They became certified icons of the 1960s. The famous cover of their 1969 album Abbey Road, with all four Beatles walking across a crosswalk, is still a popular tourist spot in London.
