My Introduction

-Start of new found liking-

The funny part about this story was that Taylor hadn’t been as heavily interested as I was, but later she started to like them more as well. I am glad for this, as she’s my K-pop and music buddy!

Including, knowing about 2-3 members names. In return, I saw that as my leeway into getting introduced and looking into the group myself. After that, I started to like them, listened to their older songs, learned different information and facts about them.

During the summer of the year 2018, my sister and I wanted to get into another group. Being that we heavily liked the same genre and stylings of musical talents and songs. This is where it got a bit funny but confusing for my past self. My older sister, Taylor, expressed her liking of song by BTS that had came out around that time, Mic-Drop to be exact.

Groups I have Intrest in :

To this day, I will always express that BTS is my favorite and top group in my category of the K-pop genre. I’ve always liked their different styles of musical combinations, especially the artist they’ve collaborated with. (Biases : Taehyung and Jimin)

My second favorite group is TXT(TommorrowXTogether). I liked their more alternative musical aspects and talents that they supply their songs. (seeing this group in person made me like them even more!) (Biases : Taehyun and Beomgyu)

My third group is Twice! I love all their songs. The songs are always fun, light, and has a nice vibe to them. The group members are also funny as well, seeing them as my first K-pop concert was an amazing choice! (Biases : Jihyo and Nayeon)

Onto my real experience ..

1st

Concert was ..

During the summer of 2023, my sister bought my first ever K-pop concert tickets for my birthday. The group being Twice! And soon she would get tickets to see TXT the next summer :D!

We planned on having our mom take us. Being that she was there to do my hair.

We had to know exactly what gate and seats we would be seated at. In preperation of knowing upon the time.

Of course, one of the best parts of the K-pop concert cultures is the ligtsticks! We bought it the day of the concert, during the sale in the morning.

We wanted to go with lighter colors, as Twice's groups colors consited of lighter themes of colors.

Visual Aspects

During the moment we sat in our seats, the view was suprising very good in quality. We could see the members, stage, and production quite clearly. The atmosphere felt unreal during the first moments, as the crowd from the colors of the lightsticks lit up the stadium. Overall, it was very pretty and breathtaking in that moment!

Talking + Socializing

Social Aspects

I will confidnetly say that the people who were sitting next to us, and others we met after the concert, were incredibly nice and sweet! So far, I will say that K-pop and Beyonce fans have been the most carefee, nice, and easily communicative people.
