Activity 1 - Anime Haiku
Write a haiku (5-7-5 syllables) like the opening narration of an anime. Example: Lonely warrior walks, Cherry blossoms guide her path a battle begings. Now write your haiku below:
Activity 2- Mini Anime Episode
Write short story ( 1-2 pages). Include characters, setting, problem, and resolution. Think of it as your own anime episode or manga chpater! Start your story here:
Activity 3 - Your anime self
Imagine yourself as an anime character. What powers do you have? Who is your rival or best friend? Describe your character below, and add a drawing if you like:
Activity 4 - Anime News Report
Write a fun news article about something happening in your anime world. Use the 5 W's: Who, What, Where, Why. Write your article below.
Activity 5 - Tell the world what you think
Write a short essasy (1 page or less) about something you care about. Imagine how your anime character would explain it to others. Discuss your character.
Activity 6 - Script an Anime scene
Pick a scene from your story and turn it into a screenplay. Write dialogue and actions, like in a real anime script. Example: INT. MAGIC ACADEMY - DAY AKARII grips her glowing staff. The room trembles. AKARI (Shouting) I won't give up - this is my destiny! Your script:
Activity 7 - Anime story maker game
Draw 2 character cards and 1 situation card. Use them to pitch a quick anime episode idea! Write your pitch:
