Why should I use a library database?
- Databases contain information that is accurate, trusted, and reliable.
- Organized- with filters, databases also help you narrow down your searches
- FREE- Always use the links provided by the CCC Library website. If off campus, you will need to log in using your Student ID# and Canvas Password
- Databases include citation generators, permalinks, and full text articles

Academic Search Ultimate provides multidisciplinary information from full-text articles in peer-reviewed journals, popular magazines, and newspapers.
A library database is an electronic catalog, index, and digital warehouse for published materials.
Focuses on social issues. Provides journal, magazine, and newspaper articles as well as viewpoint essays, topic overviews, and recommended websites.

- New York Times-Register for full access to news, multimedia, archives, and apps. Select Clovis Community College and create a personal account to log in to nytimes.com.
- LA Times-Comprehensive coverage back to 1985 is available from one of the leading sources of national and international news through ProQuest.
